What is the bamboo material?
Bamboo are evergreen perennial flowering plants, most bamboo are native to warm tropical and warm temperate climates. In Asia-Pacifica, bamboo distribute in China, Japan, India and Austrial,etc. And most warm Amercias are natived bamboo.
Bamboo are fast-growing plants and also spread fast, some species only need one year will be grown up. Due to this feature, bamboo is a good material for different products.
In the ancient China, before the paper be invanted, bamboo slips are the medium for writings. Bamboo also a material for many artworks, tools, and food, some speices are the main food for Panda.

Bamboo material for brushes
Bamboo is a good materials for industrial products and daily use products, and also for artworks.
For brushes, generally, we need to split bamboo tree and then processed to bamboo board. Bamboo as the raw material, split, degrease, combine with high temperature and pressure, fungus-resistant treatment,etc. To get different grain of the bamboo, there have different process.
For brushes, general have three grain of the bamboo board.
Striped Bamboo for Brushes

Carbonized bamboo board for brushes
Carboinzed Bamboo is darker than nature color of bamboo, because it be compressed by very high temperature and pressure, the material almost be coarbonized. Like below the picrure show.
