The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, Longzhou( Dragon Boat) Festival, Chongwu(Doubble Fifth) Festival, Tianzhong(Middle day) Festival, etc. It is a traditional festival in the Chinese character culture circle, and on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month every year. It is a folk festival that combines worshiping gods and ancestors, praying for blessings and warding off evil spirits, celebrating entertainment and food.

Three of the most widespread activities conducted during the this festival are eating (and preparing) zongzi, drinking realgar wine, and racing dragon boats.

In 2008 the Dragon Boat Festival was made a national public holiday in China. And we have 3days holiday every year, it’s from 23 to 25th of June in 2023.
